Surprisingly “perfect crime” dude is still alive. They even got Dazai and Rosswa- i mean Nokolai’s ability is sick too. Love how this actually ties to the flsshback arc with boss and Dazai.

I don't think it is and believe it is a hit. Believe it's one of the bigger anime out there when it actually gets a season and no one talks about it when between seasons. Can't say last season though was as good as some of the other seasons they've had mind you. I'd also put blood blockade up there though and hope for more in the future but we still haven't gotten word of a 3rd season yet unfortunately.

people rarely talk about it. every time new season is on going its always on the shadow of other anime. the quality that this show offer should accomplish more imo

Ya the story telling especially in past arcs are great and it should stand out more then hey here's another isekai with the same plot or or some dumb anime trying to tease over cartoon breasts and underwear.

No one really talks about this show a lot, but it must be doing something right considering it has more seasons and OVAs than more well known shows. At the time I'm writing this, the 5th season has come out. Which is a WHOLE LOT more than what many other shows get. I thought it would get two seasons at most, but BOY was I wrong

The fact that its on its 4th season alone means its not underappreciated. Most anime's get 2 season at most these days.

i heard its popular in japan so that might be the reason but other than there, its not that much talked about. compared to many other anime this supposed to get more attention.

Episode 1 had 3 times the coments. My guess is that those who watched the first couple episodes got bored and disliked it. If this episode had been the first one, then there would be a lot more commenters here.

Bungo Straydogs isn't underappreciated at all. After all, it got a 4th season. It has an anime movie and they even made a life action movie. It's just the people here on Gogo don't seem to appreciate it much.

Sometimes they pull a good twist sometimes it's just some writing gymnastics! This episode was pretty great... Still quite confused because of how far apart are the seasons!

We don't know yet. Fitzgerald was the first person to mention it - as LesK mentioned - but we haven't gotten a ton of details yet beyond that it's somewhere in Yokohama, can bend reality, and that the Detective Agency, Port Mafia, and SpecOps Division are the three-part plan to protect the city and the book.

I think they took it seriously but they were damned if they did and damned if they didn't. I am sure Fyodor had a contingency plan in place in case they did not comply. When they very briefly showed Mushitarō (who is still alive, yeah) he was told that he was just pawn in their plans to trap the agency. I think Fukuzawa did what he thought was best take the job but hope that Ranpo can figure it out before everything goes to hell.

That was the most mindblowing thing about this episode. We saw all along since season one but didn't know. This show is so good.
